Modern Short Eared Owl by Lee Yafano.

Barn Owl.

Skylark by the talented L Yafano. Very much a neglected bird for most collections

Male American Kestrel, significantly smaller than the European genus.

Dotterel (Charadrius morinellus) by Yafano. Up and coming English Taxidermist. Who when he can be bothered can produce work of very good quality (when he can be bothered that is??.). This bird was found on the Yorkshire moors, near Whitby in June 2009, mounted and offered for sale in the UK. Alas it went to Greece, perhaps not its native home but Greece nevertheless. Shame but there you go. Perhaps one of the rarest wild birds to be mounted in the UK for a long time.
