The Jackdaw (Corvus monedula), .

Pure self indulgence, my site so to speak, therefore the content whislt derived from others is at the discreation of the contributors. This cae has been created in the last month to demonstrate the effort and skill that goes into case creations. A large number of taxidermists just undertake bird mounts on plain bases with little attention to the habitat. Here we tend to go the extra mile, but given that these cases are for my personal collection then the hours spent creating them do not have to be accounted for. It was also decided that a third bird should be placed in the case also. This bird was mounted in a seated position. The vegetation and groundwork are still to be included into this case. Inspiration is taken from both TE Gunn, Ward and Peter Spicer.
